100 Blogs Later: What a Journey It’s Been

By Brian, Take the Trip

Today, I hit publish on blog post number 100—and honestly, I had to sit with that for a second. One hundred times, I have written, edited, and hit that “publish” button. That is 100 stories, 100 snapshots of places I have loved, food I have devoured, lessons I have learned, and misadventures I’ve survived.

It all started with a simple idea: share my adventures through this Crazy journey called Life. I wanted to create something real—not just polished itineraries or picture-perfect postcards, but honest travel tales told with humor, heart, and a little bit of chaos (because let us face it, travel rarely goes as planned).

In the Beginning

I still remember writing my very first blog post. I had no idea what I was doing. I did not have a strategy, a brand voice, or even a consistent format. I just had a story I wanted to tell—and a desire to bring people along for the ride. I figured if even one person read it and smiled, it was worth it.

Now here I am, 100 blogs in—and you are still here. Reading, commenting, sharing, laughing at my airport fails, drooling over my food photos, and nodding along when I rant about cruise chair hogs or praise hotel waffle makers like sacred breakfast relics.

The Journey

Over time, this little blog evolved. It became my travel diary, my therapy, my way of capturing memories before they slipped away. I have written from hotel rooms, airport gates, quiet cabins, and loud coffee shops. Some posts flowed effortlessly; others fought me for every sentence. But I kept writing.

Along the way, I have found my voice. One that is honest, quirky, occasionally sarcastic, and always real. Whether I was gushing about a hidden gem cookie shop, surviving a missed flight, or trying to beat the cruise drink package system, it has all been me, unfiltered.

To My Readers, Followers, and subscribers.

If you have read just one post—or all one hundred, thank you!

Your comments, likes, and encouragement have meant more than you know. You have helped build a community of travelers, storytellers, and snack-loving explorers who know the journey is just as important as the destination.

To my loyal readers, my silent scrollers, my family who shares every post even when they do not understand my humor—this milestone belongs to you, too.

What’s Next?

We are just getting started. There are more places to see, more cookies to taste, more travel tips to uncover, and way more stories to tell. Whether it is a 24-hour city guide, a Report on airport chaos, or a rap about “Something New to Taste” (yes, that happened)—I will keep showing up, if you will keep reading. I Hope you do!!

Here is to the next 100. (Cheers to you!)

And remember: Take the Trip – Brian
